A single copy of this 1811 original is known; 10 \[?\] copies of it in bronze were made in November 1967 by the Bildgiesserei Wilhelm Füssel, Berlin. The front part with Willdenow's likeness was used again for a solid bronze Willdenow medal which was given to persons and institutions which had actively contributed to the restoration of the Berlin Botanical Museum and Herbarium after World War II.
