"Hommage à M. le Dr. Melchior Treub..." 167 p. #### Note One of Treub's most important creations was the Visitor's Laboratory at the Buitenzorg Botanical Garden, set up to enable visiting botanists to do extended scientific work in the tropics. This laboratory saw nearly 200 visitors in its most important period: 1885-1939. On 1 January 1885 Treub sent a printed letter \[4 p., copy at G\] to botanists and botanical institutions abroad giving information of this opportunity for tropical research. In 1914 the renovated laboratory was named "Treub Laboratory". #### Eponymy *Melchiora* Penzig et P.A.
