Greene; with Greene to Catholic University, Washington 1895; Dr. phil. ib. 1897; assistant botanist USDA with F.V. Coville 1903, from 1915 detached at the Smithsonian Institution on the grass and sedge collections; retired from USDA 1934; from 1934-1935 at the botany Dept., Catholic Univ.; in retirement at St. Petersburg, Florida.
