Leopold. 1864. **Abbreviated name**: *Thwaites* \[standard form in IPNI: *Thwaites*\] #### Herbarium and types Personal herbarium not traced; however, [[Collection BRISTM|BRISTM]] still has some early Thwaites material (recent listing rd by us). The main sets of Thwaites Ceylon material are at [[Collection K|K]] and [[Collection PDA|PDA]]. Both herbaria have Thwaites types. The CP (Ceylon plants) numbers of material distributed by Thwaites were not true collector's numbers; the material stems from various locations and was not always collected by Thwaites himself (Wagenitz 1982).
