He published a *Catalogue of British and exotic ferns* in 1863 (see e.g. Desmond p. 559). Sim's fern herbarium is at K. – John Sim (1824-1901), Scottish market gardener and hepaticologist, father of Thomas Robertson Sim, had a herbarium which is untraced; some material in E, K and OXF. #### Eponymy *Simia* S.
