Curtis. #### Note Samuel Curtis was a first cousin of William Curtis; he married William's daughter Sarah Caustin (1779-1827) on 19 Oct 1801. Samuel published William Curtis' *Lectures on botany* (1803-1805), in three volumes, the first of which contains Thornton's *Sketch of the life and writings of the late Mr. William Curtis*.
