Vahl); other material at [[Collection B|B]]-Willd., [[Collection BM|BM]], [[Collection BR|BR]], [[Collection PH|PH]], [[Collection UPS|UPS]] (Thunberg). – Rohr sent many of his collections to M. Vahl who described them in his Eclogae. Rohr himself published 8 new (or putatively new) genera in Skr. Nat. Selsk. Kjøbenhavn 2: 205-221. 1792, with species diagnoses of Vahl. #### Note Not to be confused with the Saxonian Julius Bernard von Rohr (1688-1742). – The name of the collector of Ethiopian plants J.R. Roth, who was sent to Abessynia in 1841 by the British government, and whose plants are at K, has sometimes erroneously been cited as "Rohr", see Bull. misc. Inf. Kew 1897: 114. #### Bibliography and biography Backer p. 660; Barnhart 3: 172; CSP 5: 258; Dawson p. 709; Dryander 3: 36; Herder p. 419; IH 2: (in files); Langman p. 639; Lasègue p. 489, 503; MW suppl. p. 294; PR 8697; Rehder 1: 264; TL-1/1348; see M.
