Cultur, Breslau/Wroclaw). – Adolf Engler bought Uechtritz's herbarium (which included that of his father Max v. U.) privately from the estate and donated it to the University of Breslau, a touching gesture towards the memory of a man who had stimulated his earliest botanical interests.
