Richardson, Richard (1663-1741), British (Yorkshire) physician, botanist, antiquary and book-collector, who studied in Oxford (University College, Bachelor of Physics) and Leiden, under Paul Hermann and Boerhaave (M.D. Leiden 1790), F.R.S. 1712; entertained an extensive correspondence with many botanists.
