#### Herbarium and types
[[Collection MAF|MAF]] and [[Collection P|P]] (rd. 1857); other material at [[Collection B|B]]-W, [[Collection BM|BM]], [[Collection FI|FI]], [[Collection MAF|MAF]], [[Collection MPU|MPU]], [[Collection SBT|SBT]] and [[Collection UPS|UPS]]. – Most of Pourret's collections were lost during the various wars, but the collections made by him for the Brienne family were kept by the family and offered to Pourret in 1812. He refused them and they came into the possession of Barbier. They were recognized by Bonnet in the Barbier herbarium (Joseph-Athanase Barbier, 1767-1846, physician) which had been left to [[Collection P|P]] in 1846. This Pourret herbarium, dating from before 1789, is now inserted in the general herbarium and in the French herbarium at [[Collection P|P]]. The collectors are, except Pourret (S. France, Pyrenees, Brienne, Paris): W. Aiton(England), C. Allioni (Italy), Asso (Spain), J. Banks (England, Canary Is., Açores, Madeira), Barrera (Roussillon, S. France), P.M.A. Broussonet (Montpellier), A. Cavanilles (Spain), D. Chaix (Dauphiné), R. Desfontaines (Algeria), N.J. Jacquin (Austria), A.L. de Jussieu (*ex herb.*), Ant. de Jussieu (*ex herb.*), P.P. de Lapeyrouse (Pyrenees), M.A.L.C. de Latourette (div.), L.G. Lemonnier (Paris garden), J.B. Leschenault (India), C.L. L'Héritier (Paris, garden plants), C. Linnaeus fil. (Sweden), Mayoral (Spain), L.Née (Spain), C.G. Ortega (Spain), Pech (Narbonne), J.L.M. Poiret (N. Africa), L.C. The herbarium contains all Pourret types, those of the Cistaceae are kept apart (see Bonnet 1916; Aymonin 1965). A small Pourret herbarium (341 specimens) at [[Collection P|P]] is the *Corona florae Narbonensis et Pyrenaeis* made in 1781, see Guétrot (1931). – Letters and portait at [[Collection G|G]].
