The latter was delivered only on order. Both issues are on wove paper. – The 200 lithographs are of drawings by Wilhelm Sandler (only 2 prints signed). [^1]: "*Pohlia* Hedw. 1801 (Bryaceae) \[is dedicated to\] Johann Ehrenfried Pohl (1746–1800), German physician, author, member of the German Academy “Leopoldina”. He was professor at the University of Leipzig in Saxony/Germany. Hedwig succeeded him as professor when Pohl went to Dresden as physician at the court of Saxony. In his *Species muscorum* Hedwig (1801: 171) gives no dedication, but one discovery site of the moss was near Chemnitz in Saxony/Germany. Already in 1795 Franz Georg Hoffmann (1795: 48) referred to *Mnium pohlia*.
