This copy, which is possibly incomplete, consists of 102 photographs in 10 fascicles without printed pages but with captions mentioning latin name, locality and flowering time. The author foresaw the publication of 200 photographs. G.K. (Bot. Zeit. 31: 358-360. 6 Jun 1873) provides a list of the photographs so far published. A selection of 40 hand-coloured photographs "Flore de Marseille à Gènes" is mentioned in Sotheby 583. A prospectus dated Sanremo 1874, at FI, mentions no number of fascicles (decades) anticipated. NI (1486) mentions 153 fasc., plus 9 plates on Oleaceae, 20 on Hymenomycetes and 3 suppl.
