Berthelot 1828-1830), settled at Paris, assembling a rich herbarium and library. **Abbreviated name**: *P. Webb* \[standard form in IPNI: *Webb*\] #### Herbarium and types [[Collection FI|FI]] (300.000 specim.). Webb left his herbarium to the grand-duke of Tuscany and the town of Florence. He also ruled that the proceeds of the sale of his Paris residence were to be used as an endowment for the upkeep of the herbarium. The executors of his will lost a law-suit to declare it invalid and on 4 September 1855 the collection was shipped from Paris to Florence under the personal supervision of Pariatore.
