Copy*: G.–Only vol. 1 was published, in two or four parts (1795-1801). The first "decade", published "1795", containing 11 plates and 20 p. of text, was announced by JGLF only in Nov 1798. Roumeguère states that the work was published in two parts, part 1 in 1795, part 2 in 1801. It is unlikely, however, that this is the complete story. The 43 plates are coloured stipple-engravings and colour prints of drawings by Laferrerie and P. J. Redouté (11); *plates 44-46* were also printed (Roumeguère); 55 further plates were ready by 1812 and another set of published plates is discussed by Timbal-Lagrave (1864, 1885). – *Reissue*: An xi \[1801\], n.v. *Ref*.: DU 245; GF p. 64; IDC 5561". - Roumeguère, C, Mém.
