**Title**
*Icones pictae indo-asiaticae plantarum excerptae e codicibus Dom. Cattley.* London 1818. Fol. (n.v.).
**Abbreviated title**: *Icon. indo-asiat. pl. Cattley*.
**Notes**
*Publ*.: The original edition of this set of plates seems to be extremely rare. We have seen no copy of this edition; a copy is at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society (see Sotheby 417; corrigenda on p. 94). The plates are copies of Chinese drawings brought from China by A. E. van Braam-Houckgeest then obviously in the hands of the horticulturist and businessman William Cattley (x-1832). Junk offered a copy of this 1818 edition with 30 plates. A second edition was published in 1821 under the title *Icones plantarum sponte China nascentium*; *è bibliothecâ Braamianâ excerptae*. London (J. H. Bohte) 1821, 30 plates of which 23 (or 24) lithographed and 7 (or 6) etched on copper by Ker; p. \[i, iii\], *pl. 1-30. Copy*: BR.
