Enc.) and from the dates of receipt by the Académic The announcement in the JT of 16 Jan 1807 states that publication was on a monthly schedule, that up to 1807 the parts contained 6, but from Jan 1807 onwards 8 plates, and that there was an octavo and a quarto issue; the earlier parts contained 12 pages of text each. The octavo issue was on "papier jésus" the quarto issue on laid paper "papier vélin". The 1000 plates are colour-printed stipple engravings (some "terminees au pinceau") of drawings by Jaume himself.
