Wien 1917; lecturer in botanical hydrobiology at the University of Wien from 1918, from 1927 with the title of extraordinary professor; gave practical hydrobiological courses also at Helgoland (1925-1930), Ragusa (Dubrovnik) 1926, Spolato (Split) 1928, and Rovigno d'Istria 1937.
