Utrecht), was already at an early age interested in horticulture, appointed at the botanical garden of Utrecht for some time, later stayed in Germany for a year and in England (Kew) in 1904, after his return to Holland he became one of the best known plant breeders (especially bulbs), published for many years on his work, after W.W.
