*Huttonia* Sternberg (1837). *Note*: *Huttonella* T. Kirk (1897), *Huttonia* E. Grove & G. Sturt (1887), *Huttoniella* G. Karsten (1928), and *Neohuttonia* O. Kuntze (1898) commemorate Frederick Wollaston Hutton (1836-1905), English botanist in New Zealand. *Huttonaea* W. H. Harvey 1863 is dedicated to Mrs. Henry Hutton, about whom we have no further biographical information. Together with her husband, Henry Hutton (x-1896), English government official in South Africa, she collected plants for W. H. Harvey and W. J. Hooker.
