America and W. Indies (1729-1733). **Abbreviated name**: *Houst.* \[standard form in IPNI: *Houst.*\] #### Herbarium and types The Sloane herbarium ([[Collection BM|BM]]) contains plants collected by Houstoun, partly acquired through Philip Miller. Houstoun left to Miller "all his papers, drawings and a collection of dried plants." These collections were bought by Banks with the Miller herbarium in 1774 and are now at [[Collection BM|BM]].
