#### Herbarium and types
Almost certainly destroyed by fire, 21 Mai 1866, at the New York Lyceum of Natural History. Hosack's herbarium included material from the Linnaean herbarium. Part of his library went to [[Collection NY|NY]]. Mss at American Philosophical Society and Royal Society; letters at [[Collection LINN|LINN]].
