Hohenacker, Rudolf Friedrich (1798-1874), German missionary (1822-1830), physician, botanist and collector; collecting 1830-1841; from 1842-1858 at Esslingen, selling plant collections made by himself and others; from 1858 at Kirchheim/Teck.

#### Herbarium and types
See IH. – Hohenacker was associated with the *Esslinger Reiseverein* (Unio itineraria) between 1829 and 1842. From 1843 onward Hohenacker issued independently series of exsiccatae containing plants collected by himself and by others. The collections which remained after his death were dispersed by sale, first by B. Wartmann, later by K. Keck.
