Hampe issued series of exsiccatae (*Florae herciniae; Vegetabilia cellularia in Germania septentrionale praesertim in Hercynia lecta*) which are in many herbaria. The British Museum (Natural History) also possesses copies of Hampe's published works with manuscript notes by the author.
