Berne), studied at the Collège de Porrentruy, passed his pharmacy examination 1915, Dr. ès-sciences naturelles 1917 Univ. of Geneva, taught school nr. Geneva 1918-1921, asst. to R.-H. Chodat 1918-1922, employed as a research scientist at Hoffmann-La Roche (pharmaceutical firm), Basel 1922-1950, died 12 Apr 1950 nr. Montreux. **Abbreviated name**: *H. Guyot* \[standard form in IPNI: *Guyot*\] #### Note Guyot's first wife, Marie Chirtoiu (1892-1937), was born in Romania and she studied, as did her husband, under R.-H.
