Stafleu (in litt., 1 Feb 1977) clarifying that Agnes Arber, *Goethe's Botany* (Chron. Bot. 10(2): 67-124. 1946) includes the perhaps most widely read English transl. of Goethe's 1790 *Versuch, die Metamorphose der Pflanzen zu erklären* (p. 89-115) (see TL-2/1, nr. 2081). - (2) Note Walter H.
