He published Walter's *Flora caroliniana*. Various specimens are also in the Banksian herbarium ([[Collection BM|BM]]). Walter's herbarium, once also in the hands of Fraser, was presented to [[Collection LINN|LINN]] in 1849, and is now at [[Collection BM|BM]].
