*Note*: (1) The Linnéska institutet founded as the Societas pro historia naturali in 1800 was a short-lived society in Uppsala devoted to natural sciences. In 1802, Adam Afzelius (1750-1837) was named president of the society. On the centenary of Linnaeus' birth (1807), the society adopted the name commemorating him and published the first and only fascicle of *Linnéska institutets skrifter*, see TL-2/1: 11-13 and Suppl. 1: 33-35. (2) In the copy examined at K, pages 17-18 and the pl. are replaced by photographs of the text and illus., respectively.
