Praha 1793. **Abbreviated name**: *F.W. Schmidt* \[standard form in IPNI: *F.W.Schmidt*\] #### Herbarium and types lost, except for some fragments at [[Collection PRC|PRC]] and [[Collection BP|BP]]. We are grateful to Dr. V. Skalicky from Prague for this information which is based on a thorough search of all Bohemian herbaria; he was unable to reaffirm v. Wettstein's statement (1899) that the major part of Schmidt's herbarium is incorporated in the herbarium of the then existing German university in Prague (now [[Collection PRC|PRC]]). Matouschek (1900) and Kláštersky (p. 166) mention an *Agrostographia botanica* in the monastery of Osseg.
