Most of his collections are therefore widely dispersed. The types of the *Topographisches Verzeichniss*, however, are at [[Collection S|S]] (Nordenstam 1972). Koster gives as locations for Ecklon's algae: [[Collection FR|FR]], [[Collection GOET|GOET]], [[Collection KIEL|KIEL]], [[Collection LZ|LZ]] and [[Collection PC|PC]]. – Ecklon's collections were announced by Flora 16: 476-480, 759-761. 1833.
