Lees published, under the name of Ambrose Florence, a "Strangers' Guide to the City and the Cathedral" \[of Worcester\] containing *A catalogue of plants growing wild in the vicinity of Worcester* (1820); as "Alwynus Malverine" he published popular articles on natural history in the Malvern News and Journal of which he was the editor from 1861 onward.
