It is incorporated in the general herbarium. Drake's collection consisted of phanerogams and pteridophytes and had been increased by the incorporation of the following herbaria: (1) Franchet (acquired 1880) which contained Savatier (Japan) and David (China and Mongolia) collections; (2) Franqueville (acquired 1891; (3) Vesian (acquired 1891); and (4) Lenormand. A detailed list is given by Bureau (see below sub Bibliography). Drake used collections by Savatier for his Polynesian studies.
