Brown (1810). #### Biographical details See Cosson (1859), mentioned above. Desvaux was born at Poitiers (Vienne) on 28 August 1784 and died at 12 July 1856 at Bellevue near Angers. Most numbers are reviewed in JGLF 1808 and 1809. Publication was therefore scheduled to take place in the first week of each month. This was at least the case with numbers 1(1, 2) and 2(1, 2-3, 4). The May and June number of 1809 \[2(2-3)\] may have appeared at the same time, although under separate cover, early May.
