Hustedt" The accompanying text for the first 20 Hefte (plates 1-80) was called *Vorläufige Erläuterungen*. Of this text a second edition exists for Hefte 1-7, 11 and 12, giving the dates of the first publication. This text was superseded by *Erläuterungen*, one folio per plate, issued with a second edition of the plates. This new text gives also dates of the first issue, but these are, in some cases, erroneous. This second text was also published separately. From plate 81 on each plate was accompanied by a sheet of vorläufige Erläuterungen. A. Schmidt was responsible for plates 1-212 (145-212 in collaboration with H. Gründler, A. Grunow, C.
